I always enjoy visiting the garden center at the Living Desert Reserve, which is at the base of Deep Canyon. Their gardens are so quiet and cool, even on a hot day! They have bird feeders for the finches and there are many colorful little ones who stop by for a meal! Nature Notes for september 2, 2010.

What a great place to sit. I used one of those feeders once and never saw birds on it, but they emptied it anyway!
How nice to be able to visit..I love that they put out thistle socks for all the little finches. I have two thistle feeders here which will increase to 5 when winter comes....Michelle
