I found this beautiful tree (maple?) in Oak Creek Canyon, AZ this past weekend. The oaks all had yellow leaves and so did many of the other trees there. I'm not sure what kind of tree this is...can somebody help me identify it? Mellow Yellow Monday for November 8, 2010.

The yellow tree could be a maple but would be so much easier to identify if you had added a shot of a single leaf.
