I took my RAV (Toyota RAV4, 1997) up a trail near Cahuilla Mountain today. I'd driven by this road so many times and never went on it. It was muddy from the week's rains (and there was a LARGE pool of water to drive through and a very rough dirt road), but I made it up the trail just fine. There were some off-roading cyclists getting ready for a ride, but just LOOK at the views! That is Mt. San Gorgonio, near Redlands, CA, off in the distance peering through the shrubs. I can't wait for next weekend and another road to explore! Scenic Sunday for April 25, 2010.
