I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

Spring on the mountain
I took a quick run up the mountain today to check on the horses. They are all fine and fat and woolly. In fact, they are all shedding! Once they get past March, they shed every year. On my way down, I stopped to look at these purple flowers along the road. Aren't they pretty? Deep Canyon has had a couple of rain storms in the last week or so and I saw a lot more wildflowers today.
