Saturday flower photos

I went out twice yesterday (Saturday) and took photos with both my Canon and my old Nikon D40.   These are the Canon ones:

These are my old Nikon D40 photos below:

I would LOVE to hear from you which ones you think are better.   My Canon has a standard lens on it (for taking photos of my journals), and the Nikon has a 300mm macro/telephoto.

XOXOXOXO
Cheryl

  1. Love the pics and especially the Lavendar which are magnets for beneficial insect predators.

Did you ever move up to your property in Anza, or still in desert ? Anza has become a miserable dangerous place since they passed that legalized marijuana law. Every Tom, Dick & Harriet is in on growing the stuff and the cops are beside themselves. My old place on 60180 Burnt Valley Road is now owned by some Asian Syndicate and they obliterated all the manzanita and pines to build and run greenhouses and outside plantings for that junk. Reading the news over there it's become really dangerous and the landscape has become more and more ruined, even wild areas.

  2. Well, hello! NO, we never moved up there. I never have wanted to sell our house in the desert. We are only 11 miles from our daughter and her family anyway and I don't wish to drive up and down that hill every day or even once a week! Yes, Anza has definitely changed over the years!
