I always enjoy visiting the garden center at the Living Desert Reserve, which is at the base of Deep Canyon. Their gardens are so quiet and cool, even on a hot day! They have bird feeders for the finches and there are many colorful little ones who stop by for a meal! Nature Notes for september 2, 2010.
