This week's Sunday Stills challenge was to find something older than 60 years old. A couple of years ago hubby went on a Desert Adventures tour to an old mining town which has been preserved and is right here in our valley. Jeeps take people in for the tour and the town is on private property, so you do have to pay for their tour. I haven't been on it yet and would like to do it someday (but not in summer!) That is an old Indian hut made out of palm tree branches (or fronds). The other photos are the old mining town. Our desert here has several old mining towns, but this one has been preserved.
