I took this photo from the parking lot at Trader Joe's.
I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

We got some sprinkles yesterday and the fire is now 50% contained!
It was cloudy and extremely humid here yesterday and there are already clouds again this morning. By 9:30 a.m., I felt sprinkles outside! :-) They did help the firefighters to contain the fire in the San Bernardino mountains and it is now 50% contained and all evacuations are lifted! FINALLY!!! However, now residents will have to worry about flash floods and mudslides.

Glad to hear some rain fell and helped with the fire. We are breathing the smoke at the canyon. But the clouds only tease us and bring no rain.
