Hope you don't mind my posting this here, but my other blog which gets more into technical science subject, I posted an article on the environment in and around Garner Valley and surrounding areas and the much demonize chaparral called Big Sage Brush. Hope you enjoy it. You don't follow my "Earth's Internet" blog, but I have many things there which relate to environment where you are.
BTW, I have found several historical pictures of the area of San Jacinto Mountains and Santa Rosa Mountains I'll post in Timeless Environments next week.
