First thunderstorm on the rim

We got to the cabin about 2 p.m. our first afternoon and by 4:00 a thunderstorm rolled in.  Thunderstorms happen almost every afternoon in August along the top of the rim and they could be anywhere.  They come and go on a daily basis as the desert's hot air rises along the rim.  We enjoy experiencing them and just sat back and watched.
