Sunflowers

As I told you previously, there weren't many sunflowers up on the Rim this summer.  Yes, they have had rain up there and LOTS of it!  We saw many standing pools of water.  Maybe the rains didn't come at the right time?  The beautiful national forest down from the cabin was devoid of sunflowers this summer, but last summer it was FULL of them!  I did find some around the little town of Overgaard, however, like these.
