HOME at last!!!

So, after an overnight stay in Ridgecrest, we made it home yesterday, before noon.  It wasn't that hot in the desert.  It was overcast and 97 degrees.  And, last night was down to 74 degrees, so we opened up every window in the house and allowed it to air out.  My wildflowers out front survived, thanks to daily visits from my family members, but the dogs sure let us know how much they missed us!  Whoo, whoo, howl, howl!  And my indoor black cat, Abby, wouldn't come out for over 2 hours...she was so mad at us!  She finally had to give us her opinion and it wasn't a nice one.  She was upset!  But, it's good to settle in back at home.  I'll be going up for a horse lesson tomorrow morning and then I have an iPad class on Thursday.  Seems like there is always something to do, right?  Here are a few pics of my garden.  I can't wait to see what birds and butterflies arrive today.  Oh, and our gecko family was out on the kitchen screen again last night!

  1. As much fun as it is to be on the road, it is always nice to get back home! It's nice that you returned to a cool evening.
