Okay, I've experimented with Picasa and I've resized and cropped this photo, so I'm hoping I can upload it to Friday Photo Favorites! I did it! Here's the info: Taken with a Nikon D40x, Tamaron 18-200mm lens (with macro). Aperature: f9.0 and ISO 200. No special lighting, except for my polarizing lens. This was SOOC (straight out of the camera), but I did crop it and resize it to post it on Friday Photo Favorites. It is my favorite photo for the week because it shows a side canyon of Deep Canyon and the dark blue/violet blossoms on the smoke tree. The smoke tree is very beautiful in the desert with the deep blue sky above
I had a bit of a job finding you as the link took me to another blog desert south west but glad it did as you have a beautiful photo of the smoke tree on June 24th blog.
the photo on deep canyon was a bit small to see clearly and I would have missed the beauty if I had not seen the other photo.
This is why I don't like to resize photos and mess with Picasa! Sorry about that!
