As I was driving up the highway next to Deep Canyon yesterday, the moon was slowly setting. I stopped my car, got my tripod out, and took 3 photos of it. Then I continued on my walk through the pinyon forest. By the time I returned to my car, the moon had set and was gone. I'm glad I got to see it when I did! Sunday Stills Challenge for May 22, 2011.

Moon over the mountain~Sunday Stills Challenge~052211
As I was driving up the highway next to Deep Canyon yesterday, the moon was slowly setting. I stopped my car, got my tripod out, and took 3 photos of it.
