Living Desert Reserve

I never know what we are going to see at the Living Desert.  It depends on the season, the weather, and how crowded it is.  As members, we usually arrive about 8 a.m.  On this day, last weekend, the weather was perfect.  The little one wanted to see the giraffes, so we headed over to that area.

Her mother wanted to stop by the garden center to buy a new wind chime, so we ended up there last.  It was a good day for a long stroll! :-)

 One of the baby giraffes was interested in the pumpkin which had rolled down the hill!  Silly giraffe!

The little one loved all the sounds that the wind chimes made in the garden shop!  She had to hear EVERY single chime!
