Newborn bighorn sheep born at Living Desert Reserve

I missed the little one by two days, but a bighorn sheep was born at the Living Desert Reserve yesterday.

When we were there on Saturday, three or four bighorns (it's always hard to find them up in the rocks) were lounging in the warm sunlight.  One was taking a nap.  In fact, I wasn't even sure it was alive!  But, as we headed back that way, it got up and moved.

 There is a young one above the bigger one, up in the rocks, peeking out!

This is the one I wasn't sure about, but he/she got up and walked away a short time later.
