I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

LOTS more snow~~~
This was the scene two weeks ago up in the ponderosa forest above Deep Canyon. However, we had a HUGE storm move through yesterday and last night. I haven't even been outside yet today, but snow was forecast down to 3,000 feet. This is actually up at about 4,500 feet. I can't wait for the weekend to go exploring and see how much is left!

Got a dusting last night but didn't even stick to the already warming ground here at 5000 ft. Still very gray.
ReplyDeletethat would sure be nice! It was storming and hailing here on the coast. I'm sure it led to a lot of snow in the mountains.
ReplyDeleteWe got LOTS of snow here in the Oregon mountains but only a few flakes on the valley floor. It's not over yet though...snow off and on predicted for the next 7 days.
