I stepped outside yesterday afternoon and took this photo of the clouds low on our mountains. This isn't Deep Canyon (it was totally obscured by clouds), but is looking up toward the pinyon area of the mountains which I travel through on my way to visit my horses. It rained here 24 hours straight today and we got 2.34 inches of rain here in Palm Desert. Palm Springs got 3.47 inches, a new record, and Desert Hot Springs got 4.00 inches, also a new record!
