I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

A desert view of the Santa Rosa and San Jacinto mountains
I don't have a clear view of our local mountains from the house, but I drive by a place which is up on a plateau on my way to school every morning. If I'm early, and I have time, I like to stop and take pictures of our mountains. This was Monday morning, after a storm came through last weekend. Pinyon and places higher got new snow, but I'm sure Pinyon's snow is gone. Joshua Tree also got a dusting of fresh snow. :-)
