We were so amazed to still see fall colors on the trees at the Whitewater Preserve last Sunday! Isn't this amazing? It was like walking back in time. Oh, and I always stop to take a photo of the warning sign, which is outside the preserve office! The first time I went there with hubby, I looked up on the cliffs and saw several bighorn sheep. Not this time, however. It was pretty quiet up there last Sunday.

There's a park between Mesa and Superior and an area that can be walked into. You come to a sign that says 'rattlesnakes beyond this sign'. Meaning . . . . the snakes don't crawl over the line? They can read the signs and stay on their side? :))
HmmmmI, I'd be more concerned about rattlers than sheep!...:)JP
Fall is definitely lingering there.
There are so many people tromping around here, I don't think snakes are a danger...it's just a warning to keep your eyes and ears open! I'd be more concerned about the mountain lions, since there ARE bighorn sheep up on the hills!
