I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

Amazing fall colors in December and a warning sign
We were so amazed to still see fall colors on the trees at the Whitewater Preserve last Sunday! Isn't this amazing? It was like walking back in time. Oh, and I always stop to take a photo of the warning sign, which is outside the preserve office! The first time I went there with hubby, I looked up on the cliffs and saw several bighorn sheep. Not this time, however. It was pretty quiet up there last Sunday.

There's a park between Mesa and Superior and an area that can be walked into. You come to a sign that says 'rattlesnakes beyond this sign'. Meaning . . . . the snakes don't crawl over the line? They can read the signs and stay on their side? :))
ReplyDeleteHmmmmI, I'd be more concerned about rattlers than sheep!...:)JP
ReplyDeleteFall is definitely lingering there.
ReplyDeleteThere are so many people tromping around here, I don't think snakes are a danger...it's just a warning to keep your eyes and ears open! I'd be more concerned about the mountain lions, since there ARE bighorn sheep up on the hills!
