I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

Vulture~Nature Notes~101112
As I drove up to the horse ranch last weekend, I spotted a vulture making lazy circles in the sky. I was able to pull over, grab my camera, adjust the settings, and click away before he moved off. That doesn't usually happen. Vultures usually spot me, then fly away! But, this one wasn't bothered by my presence. As you can see, it was early morning (about 8:30) and the morning rays caught his wings at times. Interesting, eh? Nature Notes for October 11, 2012. They are such graceful fliers, aren't they?! Great photos!
