I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

White picket fence, Garner Valley~Friday Fences~030113
There's a little enclave of inexpensive homes on small lots in one part of Garner Valley, which is up in the Ponderosa pines area of our local mountains. I always enjoy driving through there whenever I can. In fall, the Virginia creeper is bright red. Right now, snow is on the ground. I have certain houses, like this one, that I photograph throughout the year. I LOVE this picket fence, don't you? Friday Fences for March 1, 2013. Oh, yes, I do. Didn't the Cleavers on Leave It To Beaver have a fence similar to this one?
ReplyDeleteThere's a fence and gate almost identical to this here in Tucson. Love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat fence and especially the entrance with the porch above. Pity that around the corner they are using normal wire mesh.
