I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

One word to describe this, MAGICAL! Great Composition! Brought my mind to the exact same place! More Power!
ReplyDeleteWow...I fondly remember my 1st of only 2 trips to the Owens Valley. Wish't I had seen those petroglyphs - thanks for sharing.
ReplyDelete(and I don't blame you for not telling - I think people need to find such "sacred places" on their own)
Cool sighting of the petroglyphs. Your photo looks beautiful, with the pretty blue sky and the streak of clouds. Happy skywatching!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!

such a beautiful composition! I love the way the clouds are aligned at an angle from the opening between the boulders!
ReplyDeleteI love that rock! So definitive. Of course I love the rock art, too. Not so sure about the spooky rattles and sounds you encountered.
ReplyDeleteAre you back in town? So am I, so drop me a line and maybe we can grab a coffee.
