I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

post and wire~Friday Fences~102811
I love the look of old fences, especially those with wood posts, like this one. It is near the spot where I found the cattle in yesterday's post. Friday Fences for October 28, 2011. To visit Friday Fences, please go to: http://lifeaccordingtojanandjer.blogspot.com/

It is so hard to see the fence in this photo! I thought at first that it was the two posts, and the wires between them!
ReplyDeleteI like old wooden fences, too, and I like old rusty fences.
ReplyDeletelove it...
ReplyDeleteEnlarging the shot made for a vast landscape behind the wood and wire.
ReplyDeleteNice capture!
A fence with a view, an incredible view!
ReplyDeleteI'll look for fences now with great enthusiasm! Nice photo.
ReplyDeleteMakes you wonder how long this fence has been standing...I like the x going across it! Thanks for playing today
ReplyDeleteThat's a solidly built fence!

I also love this look. You have captured it perfectly. B
ReplyDeleteThose fence posts were put in to last. Hard to imagine how many lines of fencing they've held up. So appreciate photos that are not just one pretty scene, but ones that tell a story.
ReplyDeleteLove the look of the weathered posts. Very nice.
