Aspens fascinate us and we are always on the search for them. There are a few up on Highway 74, in Garner Valley, but not many. These are on the road from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon. Even bare, they have a certain beauty. SkyWatch Friday for March 18, 2011.

I am enamored by aspen. How the saplings dance and the leaves shimmer and turn gold. Lots of them on the North Rim.

I also love them! We made that several months ago. Very scenic and many of these trees.
Love love love aspens. Only seen them once in my lifetime but hope to remedy that SOON!
