Ocotillo bloom~Today's Flowers 020611

This is a pretty ocotillo bloom. The ocotillos, due to our warm weather, are starting to bloom up and down Deep Canyon. And, with all of our rain in December, they have greened up and are lovely right now! But, look out for the spikes on ocotillos! Today's Flowers for February 6, 2011.

    AH! RED ocotillo blooms! My color of the day! Yes, I've been to Oak Creek Canyon in Arizona and loved, loved, loved it! I love Arizona, period, top to bottom. As many times as we've visited AZ I've never seen ocotillo blooms. So beautiful!

    Another flower I have never heard of or seen. It's what I love about seeing everyone's flowers here. I get to see flowers I have not seen before. These are gorgeous!
