I dedicate this blog to my father, who first put a camera in my hands when I was 12 and who took me to many of the places that I love today.

California poppies~Nature Notes~050814
I found these beautiful California poppies right at the corner of Highway 74 and Highway 371. The latter is the road down to Anza, CA. I saw them a couple of weekends ago, but last weekend, they were in full bloom and I just had to stop and admire them! Aren't they cheerful? Nature Notes for May 8, 2014.
